4) No one questions your need to take a cat nap at 3:00 in the afternoon
3) All the "cool" CD's are now in the $5 discount bin
2) Not worried if that crying baby is yours

Winter Update

In place of actual journaling - I am doing "Family History" by Slide Show. Here is our winter, so far.

Drake and some friends spent a day at Grandpa Bronsons. They pressed some yummy cider. (Try it in the crock pot with a pork roast - YUMMY) and helped him burn a huge pile of branches. My Dad lives in north Lehi and feels that he should be able to burn any old time of year - just like the old days. The Lehi Fire Dept. didn't feel the same way. Dad was just glad that they were almost completly burned when the 2 fire trucks showed up at his house. Good times. Good times!

Katherine turned 16. That magical number where dating and driving become legal. Heaven help us!

Here is Grandma cutting her Birthday Pie - no cake for her. I can't believe she is 16. Where has the time gone?!? I love her so much and we are very proud of her.

We are a competitive family and love to play cards. We usually have a few hands of UNO or Phase 10 every day in the winter.

"Uhhh, I think he's cheating"

Christmas morning came and we had to force the kids out of bed (!)at 8:30.

Apparently Santa thought we were good girls and boys, because we all received lots of great gifts and treats. Finally awake and excited.

Christmas morning is a good reminder of how much we are blessed and lucky just to have each other.

I baked and cooked (and ate) way too much. I hope you had a Merry Christmas!!

BYU v UT

We had an awesome tailgate party for the BYU vs UT game with our family and friends. (Side note to Jason: you are #1!!)

Curtis' brother Doug, his wife Amber, and their kids, Madi, Bronson, Jackson and Carson came all the way from Washington to visit and see the game. We had a blast with them.

The food was great and the weather was amazing for the end of November in Utah. We are already looking forward to next year.

Thanksgiving

With so much to be thankful for this year - I will focus on my Grandmas good cooking and the pies waiting patiently on the washer and dryer. YUM! This my favorite part, just seeing all the food lined up - oh, the anticipation!

Drake and Bronson

I am so glad our "Washington Puzeys" came down to spend the weekend with us. Here we all are waiting for the feast to begin.

Mom and Dad Bronson

Katherine and her cousin Jade and Aunt Jolene. Looks like the tall genes skipped a few families!

MMA

MMA - Ever heard of it? Nope, me neither. It stands for Mixed Martial Arts. It's where grown men (and two women!) kick the crap out of each other in any way they can until one submits, or gets a compound fracture, or an eye kicked in, or irreversible kidney damage. I know, I know, "Why?" 'cause they're men.

Anyway, the MMA was having a brawl, er, a match - I don't know what it was but it was at the McKay Events Center at UVU and my men HAD to go. I was apprehensive...such violence and debauchery. Will they come home all violenced out? Will this have permenant effects on my impressionable 13-year-old? Will this lead to new and improved wrestling moves? Yes -- to the new moves...but WHO could they practice on...hmmmmmm. This is what a Saturday morning looks like at my house.

Don't worry PETA - Licorice was loving it

This is where I drew the line. When Licorice was declared the champ and set on my counter.

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!?!??

ESPN Gameday came to BYU and of course Curtis, Drake, and Kat were there. (I was home in bed - go Cougs) Curtis had this awesome sign made and it was featured on KUTV Sports and it was one of five signs featured on ESPN Gameday's blog. But.....BYU did not let them hold it up for the camera because it had a pic of Obama on it. :( Note to BYU - You are party poopers who take yourselves way too seriously. Note to the BYU Security Guard who threatened to arrest (YES, ARREST) Curtis if he held the sign up (and that security guard was packing heat btw) - Dude! Hurry up and graduate with your IT degree. And, yes, you look taller with that gun.

Drakes 8th Grade Football team's last game and their last "All in" with their helmets. This seriously brought tears to my eyes. I loved watching the games and cheering like crazy and having Curtis be a part of the coaching. We will miss it. GO LEHI!

Drake on the sidelines. I love how all the boys look so tough with these pads and helmets on.

Before the last game. Kat and I usually wore an old jersey of Drakes so we could be "Team Puzey"

This is where he gets his blocking practice.
